Trust Board Members 2009/2010
Over 43,000 men have attended the New Warrior Training Adventure. Are you the next man?

Charitable Trust no. CC41590

The Trust Board is elected annually at Annual General Meeting by members of the New Zealand Mankind Project Community. The appointed Trustees are also from within the community. All members of the community have completed the signature training; the New Warrior Training Adventure.

Below the Trust Board we have an elected Centre Council of 12 men who run the project activity.

Appointments to both Trust Board and Centre Council are voluntary without remuneration.

Current Trust Board Trustees (2010) are;

Tony Lipanovic. – Trustee

A colleague sent me off on my New Warrior Adventure in December 1995 at Camp Henry Horner, Chicago…it radically changed my life. I brought the Program to New Zealand in 2002. My personal Mission has not changed since 1995 and that is “To create a safe place for all humans to communicate and heal the planet”. I am CEO of a busy Practice of Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Counsellors. I live at Kennedy Bay, Lake Rotoehu in a ‘slice of NZ’s paradise’; with Jude an initiated woman with WW [Women Within] and Clancy, Kruger and Mollie our 3 Schnauzers.  With 2 grandchildren, Fife and Billie and another on the way, I am passionate about ManKind Project as I want the world to be a safer and sustainable place for them and their children.

Richard Solomon. – Trustee

Richard is retired, having sold his business in Private Healthcare in 1996. “I have remained involved in MKP since experiencing my training in 2003. I was married for 34 years before losing my wife after a 3 year battle with cancer. I have 3 adult daughters and three grandchildren with 2 more on the way. I have a number of interests including Golf, Rotary, skiing and travel. I am particularly involved in the “Elder Body” of MKP and through this am able to give back to many men which I find very rewarding. MKP continues to be a blessing in my life, enhancing my relationships and self accountability.”

Daniel Nepia. – Trustee

Ngati Kahungunu

“I came to the ManKind Project NZ in 2004 overweight, addicted and unhappy; too gutless to end the relationship I’d fallen into and too numb to admit my career was heading south fast. MKP helped me put myself back together, stronger and more functional than before.” Today Daniel leads a behavioural change programme for in-risk youth in South Auckland and consults throughout NZ on indigenous land use resilience and sustained social growth. Daniel also sits on two company boards. He has held the role of National Director of MKP NZ for the past four years.

Michael Taillie. – Trustee

I got involved in MKP after completing the weekend some 5 years ago. I did the weekend because part of my life had lost its spark & passion.  I am now passionate about taking responsibility for the life I have and the gift this work offers other men.   I am married with three children aged 10, 9 & 6.  I work in publishing.

Travis Field. – Trustee

“I am Travis field. 41years old, married for 18 years with two young children.

I value MKP and continue to be involved because of the benefit I feel from the male community. To meet with other men and talk openly and supportively about male things, I find a rich experience. My wife enjoys the result! I am a Director of a Media Company. Outside of work and my family, I enjoy being in the NZ bush, wine, beer and a wee dram.”

Martin Cahnbley. – Financial Officer

Martin is a world citizen.  He was born in Germany, grew up in South Africa, lived in Australia and now New Zealand.  He has a B.Comm. in Accounting and Economics and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management. Martin operates his own wine importing company and is a partner in a bistro in Auckland.  “My greatest interest is people. I became involved in working with people in 2007, when I spent time training people in Nepal and became involved with MKP in 2008.  My view is that men and women must live together in healthy aware partnerships to ensure a safe, vibrant and loving future for all human beings.”
